We have considered your appeal carefully but regret to inform you that it cannot be acceded to. As explained in our earlier email dated 23 Apr 08, you are not eligible for the deferment to pursue the Advanced Certificate course as you had exceeded the age criterion of 18 years old when the course commenced on 7 Apr 08.

You will be enlisted on 10 July 08 as scheduled.

I am not going to give up! I’m gonna write in again, and this time I’m requesting for an interview.

And if it fails, I keep writing in again and again and again.

I’ll keep trying and trying until all else fails, then I’ll lift up my hands and say,

“God’s ways are higher than our ways.”

I think only God knows what on earth was she trying to do.

It’s been 3 weeks of SOT and I am enjoying every moment of it.

There has never been a moment in my life where God has been more real and tangible.

Lessons usually finish at 1pm, but Pastor completed the series on the Tabernacle at 12.20pm today. We were actually wondering if he’s going to end class early, but instead he gave us a 10-minute break and we all returned at 12.30pm.

Pastor began to lead us into a time of worship. The presence of God saturated the entire hall. We worshipped with several songs, and Pastor led us through the motion.

First the Outer Court, then the Holy Place and finally into the Holy of Holies.

The power of God struck the entire auditorium when Pastor blew into the microphone. I got up after a while, but wave after wave, God’s glory manifested itself in its highest form.

Finally, Pastor ended the ministering session.. I turned back to look at the clock.. It’s 1.30pm, but it only felt like 10 minutes?

During one of the mornings last week, we sang this song before lessons.

And I’ve been singing it since then.

A very terrified and helpless me went to SMS all my leaders and close friends. Their replies brought some relief but afterwards I called CMPB and they advised me to go down personally to speak to them. I’m gonna make a lot of noise if I don’t get what I want!

Life is an adventure.

I find myself in places I’ve never been before.

I see myself doing things I’ve never attempted before.

I hear myself talking to people I’ve never dreamt of meeting.

All of these, of course, in a good way.

God is awesome!

I gave God my empty heart and He filled it full.

I’m loving my days.

God has never been more real in my life!
