Today is day 4 of training, but considering the fact that I ran Mizuno on Sunday,
This is my fifth day of running.
Started with 1.2km, alternating between 100m strides and 100m jog.
Then attempted a 5km, but stopped after 2km because my calves started to hurt.
Removed my shoes and did 20 minutes slow jog on the field instead.
Maybe I’ve been pushing myself too hard, especially after yesterday’s training programme.
Now my calves and shins hurt a lot.
Recovery day tomorrow.
Saturday is training again,
And Sunday is race day.
