Apologies for the lack of updates.
Been working everyday and I am really enjoying my new workplace.
I have a great supervisor, awesome colleagues and the environment is just serene. Literally. The moment I look up from my desk, I see plants and trees all around.
I realized that, while money is important, but it isn’t the most important thing in the world.
I don’t earn a lot (compared to other graduates out there), but I enjoy what I am doing, and that is most important. I don’t have to drag myself out of bed and push myself to go to work.
I guess a Sociology graduate always ends up in some form of research? Because, at least that’s what I am doing.
In other news, I have a race this coming weekend and I am so unprepared for it.
I tried to train consistently 2 months ago, but it was just too hard to fit into my working schedule and so I ended up losing my momentum. It is difficult to swing back now, and I am not going to push myself during this upcoming race for risk of injuring myself.
In the wise words of Mika, “Relax, take it easy, for there is nothing that we can do.”
