Recently, I met up with an old friend for lunch. We were just catching up and chatting about random stuff so I can’t recall how I ended up saying “I have never been to Sentosa Cove before.”
He then asked me, “Would you like to go there later?”
I couldn’t resist such an exclusive opportunity.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera with me, so all my photos were taken using my iPhone.
Turns out that he actually bought an apartment at the Oceanfront a few years back, for $3.4m, which he is currently renting out to a tenant.
I parked the car and we went out for a stroll. I felt like I have just walked into another world. It didn’t feel like I was in Singapore anymore. The entire place felt so incredibly surreal and unrealistic.
All of the houses don’t have any gates.
How bout having your own private berth at the back of your house to park your own yacht?
And this was my favorite.
This isn’t a resort. This is somebody’s house!
If ever, by some stroke of luck, I am entitled to a sudden windfall, I am going to get a property in Sentosa Cove.
I don’t care how I have to live the rest of my life.
