The thing about going for different trips with Pastor is that you can never expect the same things to happen each trip.
The past weekend with CHC-KL at their Emerge convention was really quite an eye-opener. It wasn’t like the 2007 Taiwan Youth Camp where there was a lot of time spent seeking God and worshipping. Emerge-KL was more of teachings and team-building activities. I had good fellowship time with the church staff, members and their Security team as well.
On the first day we were at KL, a trip to the grocery ended with us buying more than what we needed.
I was actually sick last week but I managed to recover prior to the trip, yet I fell sick again on the first day. It was quite obvious why.
I really thank the CHC Security Team for their warm fellowship. They were really good hosts to us, very hospitable, and througout the entire conference, they remained very teachable. I look forward to Asia Conference 2010 when I can return the favour.
** During the trip, there was someone from the SG missions team that wasn’t really outstanding. In fact, she was very quiet and shy and not very outspoken. The only thing about her was that she had a pretty face and she was quite tall. I didn’t really take notice of her, but now I just realised who she was! Gosh!
