Shallowness
I used to be quite a nonsensical person (although at times, I think I still am), but nowadays I find myself very intolerant of people with very shallow views.
If you are someone I just met, and you cannot impress me within the first few minutes of our conversation, I find it very difficult for me to continue listening to what you have to say. I try not to, but I can’t help appearing distracted and trying to end the conversation as soon as possible.
Not that I think highly of myself, but really, sometimes the best way to look smart is to keep your mouth shut. I doubt you even understand what you yourself are talking about.
There are actually a lot of people like that. They try to be great conversationalists and are open to whatever topic you have to say. The problem is that they try too hard and whether is it you are talking about golf, current affairs, electronic devices, stocks and finances, they always have something to say based on their insufficient knowledge and inexperience, thus always making themselves look stupid.
It doesn’t hurt to keep your mouth shut, but it hurts my ears when you don’t.
There this saying “You Said it BEST when you Said NoTHING”

I think it’s from Ronan Keating’s song.
