You often hear people saying that kids nowadays are so fortunate.
Well, they really are. From young, they are pampered and spoilt by their parents. They never have to work for themselves. Their parents carry their school bags for them, fetch them to and from school, and give them huge allowances that can feed the entire family for a week. Some parents even take matters into their own hands when the child gets bullied by other kids in school.
Hence, as these kids slowly begin to grow up and live a life of their own, they meet classmates who hurl vulgarities at them, people who set them up, freeloaders in project groups, people who make use of them, army superiors who pick on their every little mistake, platoon mates who backstab one another, and the list goes on.
They are unable to fend for themselves and they can’t handle such pressure, so they whine and complain about such people who ill-treat them.
The truth is, these pampered kids are just frogs in the well.
They are too innocent to realize that not everyone is going to pamper and spoil them like their parents did, and these people are merely centipedes, scorpions and earthworms in the shallow well.
Wait till they wake up to reality and escape from eagles, rattlesnakes and wild cats from the corporate world.
