I’m not trying to sound egoistic here. I am also imperfect and I have my own faults.
I am never hesitant to confront and correct any negative attribute of the people close to me.
If they habitually do the same stuff that gets on my nerve, I am usually bold enough, yet humourously, tell them that it puts me off and it is very frustrating/irritating/annoying/insensitive/__(others)___.
If they take it the right way, I guess that’s something that people might appreciate me for, because I’m straightforward and I’ll never demand something from anyone if I am unable to ask the same standard from myself.
Just like how if I were to ask someone not to be insensitive, I would first have to be sensitive enough.
If I were to ask someone not to be irresponsible, I would first have to be responsible enough.
Through all my experiences in the army, in church and in school,
I realized that even though I may be a good team player,
I am not a natural-born leader,
But one thing for sure is that I believe in leadership by example.
