So school has started for a week now.
Last semester when I took 4 modules, of which 2 had a relatively easy syllabus and the other 2 had a very relaxed schedule, I managed to score a GPA of 3.1. It’s not really something to “wow” about, but it did put me into a good mood and motivated me for a bit.
Although I was recommended only 3 modules for this semester, I decided to add 1 more to make it 4. It was quite difficult to get a slot for the last module because there were limited number of seats, yet for some reason, a friend of mine decided to drop the module and so I took it up.
These 4 modules either have very heavy workloads (assignments, projects etc) or they have a lot of quizzes, tests and exams, but I am determined to try. Besides, this semester is quite spaced out in a sense that the workload is split over a period of 14 weeks. The only thing is that I have lessons everyday (Mon-Fri), which is what school should be like, isn’t it?
Anyway, CCA-wise, I’m running my first 5km for SIM tomorrow, at the SAA Cross Country 2011. Not expecting to win anything since the competitor list is quite strong, but I have to start somewhere right?
