You won’t believe what happened today
I went to Choa Chu Kang Lot One to photocopy the songsheets for cell group meeting. The carpark entry at Lot One costs $1, so I inserted my cashcard into my IU unit. Photocopied the songsheets and headed to Teck Whye. I parked my bike there and went to Bryan’s house where the meeting was held.
Left my cashcard inside my IU unit throughout the entire cell group meeting, from 7.50pm until 11pm. Thank God it wasn’t stolen. I reminded myself to take it out later.
I sent Benjamin back to his home in Woodlands. Left my cashcard inside.. I reminded myself to take it out later.
I went back home and parked my bike.
Keith asked me out for supper at midnight. I went to the carpark and realised I left my cashcard inside. I gave 3 opportunities for thieves to steal.. Thank God it wasn’t stolen. This time, I kept it in my wallet.
Met Keith at Upper Bt Timah and had supper. We didn’t want to go home because it was still early, and so I inserted my bike key into the ignition while thinking of a place to go.
I suggested Jurong but Keith didn’t like the idea. Keith suggested West Coast McDonald’s and he’ll drive me there. So I hopped into his car.
Halfway through our journey, we saw this Porsche and Ferrari.
It’s not obvious, but you can hear the roar of their engines. I don’t know what speed was Keith driving at, but it was fast enough to catch up with the 2 supercars. Porsche vs Ferrari vs Honda City.
We reached West Coast McDonald’s.. Boy oh boy. It was so crowded..
I reached for my pocket,
“Where’re my bike keys?”
Went back to Keith’s car, drove back to Upper Bt Timah Road.. “Is it still there?”
“Yeah, saw it.”
Somehow I wasn’t scared or worried at all. I’ll just take it as another reason to change bike. 😀
