Back from field camp. Mindef doesn’t let me blog too much about it.
For the first time in my life, I didn’t brush my teeth nor shower nor shit for 6 consecutive days.
I got Ribena on the 4th day, and Ribena has never ever tasted so good before.
My hands are all covered with blisters.
My back is all covered with heat rash.
I have abrasions on my elbows.
I brought 6 pieces of underwear, I returned with only 4.
But overall, I felt that it was actually quite fun.
On the last day, I was appointed to lead my section for some 6km towards the objective, and it was a great experience. At least I get to be in control, rather than obeying orders all the time.
Looking back, I am quite glad I managed to go through the entire camp despite the rain. I know many others have also gone through it before, but to me, it’s a personal achievement. I’m also glad to know that I’m sheltered by the prayers of many who bothered.
Less than 4 more weeks to my graduation parade.
Heck the Decisive Force,
I want to go Above All.
(I know I am blogging in fragments because (I think) I’m developing the disability to communicate properly. No wonder they say NS makes people stupid.)
