No doubt about it, Blackberry is a good phone.
I get to receive email updates and surf the web. The QWERTY keyboard is convenient and easy to use, very ideal for typing a quick SMS. The address book automatically searches whatever entry you are trying to find. The MemoPad application organizes your reminders and notes. And for someone like me, it comes in handy as a weapon whenever I need it.
You see the biggest problem with Blackberry is that they never spared a thought for Mac users.
How the heck am I supposed to sync my Blackberry with my iMac if I cannot even use the installation CD?
The near perfect solution would be to download PocketMac for Blackberry. I said “near perfect” because it only syncs the basic functions (contacts, reminders etc). I cannot sync my Blackberry desktop!
To quote Rudolf Arnheim, “A system is in equilibrium when the forces constituting it are arranged in such a way as to compensate each other, like the two weights pulling at the arms of a pair of scales.”
Not in this case, Blackberry, your functionalities failed to justify your form because of your lack of compensation for my iMac. Otherwise, you would have been an ideal partner.
