I realised my blog entries have been filled with a lot of boring stuff recently. It isn’t as interesting as before.
I have an explanation for this. It’s simply because there isn’t anything interesting about the army, except that my BSLC has only 3 more weeks to go and I don’t know where will I get posted to.
A lot of people encourage me to crossover to OCS since I have already achieved rather good results for my IPPT and SOC, but I think my leadership skills aren’t quite there yet. By the way, my current coy will be sending 5 men to crossover to OCS. 5 is actually quite a big number because I heard that some coys only send the most prominent and outstanding 1.
Anyway, I won’t be disappointed if I don’t get selected, neither will I be very happy if I get selected.
I think that’s how the way life is. If you don’t get to the extreme of one end, you won’t get to the other extreme of the other end. It’s a balancing theory, like, if you hate noodles with a hate-score of 100, you will love rice with a love-score of 100. So if I don’t get to go OCS, my disappointment is only 50, and if I get to go, my excitement is also, only.. 50.
On the other side of things, I managed to ‘siam’ my commanders quite a lot throughout this week. The key is whenever they walk past, always face them. This way, I’ll never expose my back to them, which is also a good thing because it compliments my mannerism that I never show my backside to my commanders.
Anyway, it’s slowly recovering..
After you’ve read through this entire entry, you would have probably gotten what I meant when I said that my blog is getting boring.
